Their musical repertoire spans a diverse spectrum, encompassing lively jigs and reels that inspire foot-tapping, as well as emotive slow airs and poignant songs. Originating from Barrow-in-Furness, Jimmy’s musical journey includes formal education in music at Newcastle University, which, combined with his global travels and residencies, has enabled him to assimilate a range of international guitar techniques, subsequently infusing his playing with a distinctive flair. His performances have graced stages across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia. Meanwhile, Catherine and Ciara, both nieces of Mike McGoldrick, honed their musical skills at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow. They have also shared their talents alongside renowned artists at numerous international festivals, further solidifying their reputation in the global music scene.
